_*Read This...My Experience!*_
Had my hair style at Estique yesterday and I feel so "
kam wan" after Ben did my hair for me. He's just the BEST amongst any other hair-stylist. He's a director himself and he does his work with passion and profession. To readers of my blog out there, if you have the spending capacity and you just want to have a nice hair cut with no regrets, book Ben Goh and he will work his magic hands on you. Note that you have to set aside
$95/- just for a hair-cut (
includes hair-wash) and it would be best if you are the type who have no budget when it comes to your looks.
Anyway, here's my MRT story today...
I took a train from Bishan and as usual, the commuters I see onboard all carry the same facial expression (
somewhere, somehow), they look so gloomy and these people don't have the habit of wearing a smile or if it's weird, at the very least, can they just not pull such a long face? Never mind that, if you ever read up on neurolingusitic , your mind, body and soul are connected as one and it's very important that you keep that nice facial expression for your own goodwill sake.
Take a test (
just a simple one, right now and you'll understand):
Try slouching and carry a "
bored and tired" expression on your face, at the same time, try getting your mind to feel concentrated and powered up, all ready to get things done, all ready to work towards your goal.
It's difficult isn't it? (
if you felt this way, congratulations! at least you realized)
Okay, I shall carry on now with my experience onboard the MRT train. I managed to squeeze into a small gap and was looking for something to hold onto and I saw this nicely dressed up lady, hugging on to the MRT pole selfishly to herself, I looked at her with the expression (
eh, auntie...zi tong leh), and guess what, she gave me that (
eh, it's mine so don't even think about it)... I'm like okay, but shame on you to pose such behaviour... little wonder how will your kids ever learn from you. It's saddening cause it's life's basic courtesy.
Somehow I understood why certain people are stuck here in the train, 5 years down the road, you will still see them taking that same train, same time, same look. They are aimlessly just thinking of the month's end pay cheque for them and that's that... they see it as their life..."
till death do us part" (
with the cheque)
The truth in today's world isn't at al pleasing to the ears but yes, there are still many people in this state of mind. All it takes is to step out of this mentality and you will be free some day...in your own posh car, away from the world's negativity.
I don't know if "
you" share the same sentiments as me, or you may think that I am just a dreamer. But do yrself a favour and think about how you wanna spend your life... to be successful or a workaholic. Your fate lies within your hands.
If you have a dream or passion, well done! You have your
GOAL so work towards it! If you haven't got any... spare yourself from future agony and start
THINKING.
I myself use to have this "
ah, forget it, I cannot do it, it cannot be etc" but I met someone who is totally an opposition of me (
before) and initially I find it all too far - fetched, it took me months to realize how deeply lost in mind I was and my leverage was a sponsered course to
ANTHONY ROBBINS, UNLEASH THE POWER WITHIN. The world's No 1 coach to lead you into your
SUCCESS! It's no gimmick and I am not helping them to advertise, just to share with you the path I chose to take from then on and I'm glad I am totally a changed person now.
My parents are still stuck and I am still hoping to change the way of thinking towards life. A bed of roses waiting to be laid upon and not forsaken. One more piece of advice:
Love your love ones cause it's only this life time you have with them, occasional words "I love you" may seem a little mushy but it brings out the love and bondage in you. Believe me, these 3 words make wonders!
